Who are we?

RecreaLibros is a publishing house that creates, develops and disseminates children’s literature. We are aware that reading is fundamental for the cognitive, emotional, and cultural development of children from their preverbal stage.

We publish quality literary texts that challenge readers and provoke thoughts, feelings, and a desire for learning.

We love and use many Chilean and Latin American cultural themes.

Our authors believe in the intelligence of children, their innate perceptiveness, and their ability to find joy, answers, and entertainment through literature. They also know that illustrations are a form of reading, which help enhance meaning.

At RecreaLibros we believe that it is very important to strengthen the value of the written word because books are windows for self-knowledge, vessels for experiencing emotions, resolving conflicts, meeting with others, forming our own particular thoughts and stimulating curiosity.
